Summer/Fall Manufactured Housing Industry Trade Shows

MHVillage and Datacomp attend approximately 20 manufactured housing industry trade shows each year, many of which we sponsor, register at as exhibitors and often present in seminar and education settings.

From Vegas to Orange Beach, Ala., and Austin, Texas to Washington, D.C., there is a lot to learn at manufactured housing industry trade shows whether you build homes, own a community, run a retail center or provide products and services to the industry.

This post will continue to be updated throughout the year to list industry events, locations, venues and information on how to attend. Florida Manufactured Housing Association Annual Convention
Sept. 18-19
Orlando, Fla. – Rosen Shingle Creek
Approximately 250 people are anticipated in attendance at Florida’s largest gathering of manufactured housing professionals. Exhibitor booths will be open during the Tuesday night Welcome Reception and the following morning’s Continental Breakfast. The FMHA Welcome Reception includes open bar, a variety of catered foods and the best networking opportunity of the year.

FMHA is honored to have Sen. Wilton Simpson address attendees during the Awards Luncheon on Wednesday. A long-time proponent of responsible regulatory practices for Florida business, Sen. Simpson specifically has supported the manufactured housing industry for many years. He represents District 10, composed of a portion of Pasco and all of Hernando and Citrus counties.

MHI Annual Meeting

Huntington Beach, Calif. – Paseo Hotel & Spa
MHI’s largest membership meeting of the year provides an excellent opportunity to exchange information with industry friends, stay current on housing marketplace trends, and attend the board, committee and division meetings.

Oct. Trade Shows

Southeast Community Owners Symposium – SECO
Oct. 10-11
Atlanta Airport Marriott – Atlanta, Ga.
Anyone who owns or has an interest in the vitality of manufactured home communities will find great value in attending SECO18. The programs focus on tactics that can benefit professionals who own anywhere from one to 100 communities. This includes the owners and investors, but SECO18 also is beneficial for general managers, managers and other operators. Pre-SECO runs Oct. 8-9.

77th MMHA Annual Conference
Oct. 11
Suburban Collection Showplace – Novi, Mich.
The Michigan Manufactured Housing Association will hold its 77th Annual Conference at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Mich., the day before the Novi Home Show (Oct. 12-14), which will feature six stunning models from MMHA member manufacturers. The annual conference will run from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 11, followed by a reception and showcase from 5-7 p.m.

2018 MH Community Conference
Oct. 24-25
French Lick Resort & Casino – French Lick, Ind.
Indiana’s 2018 MH Community Conference will be a highly attractive event for community owners, retailers and other MH industry stakeholders. The first day’s focus will be tours and a welcome reception, followed by educational seminars on the second day. Topics to be covered include Fair Housing Act requirements and time-tested sales techniques.
