Highly rated courses are abundant in Sebring about a half hour drive south. Like Aviation? The country’s biggest “Fly In” takes place every year at Sun ‘n Fun in Lakeland, which is just under an hour away, and attracts individuals and families from all over. Keep driving another 5 minutes and you can make a special someone’s day (week or yea) by taking him or her to Dinosaur World, a theme Park of realistic Dinosaurs which is at Plant City. You will love the picturesque town of Plant City, with it’s brick streets and trolley tracks. For over 80 years Plant City has had a Winter Festival in which the Strawberry Harvest is celebrated. Another attraction for kids of all ages is Lego Land in Winter Haven, which only 40 minutes away and a short detour on the way to Plant City. By why stop there? Another half hour and you’re in the heart of Tampa! Sound “too far away”? the ride back from Tampa is an hour and twenty minutes!
There are too many attractions to list when it comes to Florida, but when you’re starting from Sunset at the Lake Mobile Village (and RV’s too) no place is “too far away”. Want to have a blast (off)? Cape Canaveral is just 2 hours away, you’ve seen it on TV, but what about in real life? NASCAR anyone? Daytona International Speedway is, “are you kidding me!” 2 hours and fifteen minutes away! It won’t be hard to convince family and friends to come down to Florida for a visit!
