Company Overview
Lucky Communities is a tech-based developer and operator of Manufactured Housing Communities. While our two co-founders have over 25 years of commercial real estate experience, Lucky Communities was founded in 2020. We are a young and ambitious company operating 13 Communities totaling 769 lots. Our goal is to be at 10,000 lots under management by the end of 2030. We believe that we can achieve this by providing exceptional customer service, leveraging technology, hiring the right people that exemplify our core values, and continuing to build our acquisition pipeline on the ground level. Based in New Orleans, our target market is the Southeast.
Our mission is simple: to create value for all of our stakeholders including our residents, our employees, and our investors. We believe that by re-investing in our communities, we will improve the quality of the lives of our residents while also increasing the value of the asset.
OUR STORY
We believe that the act of getting lucky is not something that happens by chance, but rather that we can create our own luck by working hard, staying focused, and instilling the right mindset into our company culture. From this notion Lucky Communities was born.
Our Co-Founders, Alex Ramirez, and Zach Kupperman bring a combined twenty-five years of experience in the operations and development of the housing industry. Both founders were born and raised in New Orleans, and continue to reside in the Big Easy with their families. When Alex’s mom immigrated from Colombia in the early 1980s her first home was in a Mobile Home Park making this yet another reason why Alex is so passionate about the space.

Meet the Team

Managing Partner
Alex oversees all company and park operations. He is responsible for property management, tenant management, acquisitions, underwriting, facilities, human resources, and deal origination. Alex received his B.A. from Rhodes College and in 2022 received his CCIM designation. Alex previously founded real estate firm CSM Realty, a real estate development and management firm based in New Orleans specializing in hotel and multi-family assets. Prior to CSM Realty, Alex worked for the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority

Zach oversees investor relations, financing, development, legal, asset management and capital and debt structuring. Zach has a B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin and a J.D. from Tulane University. Zach is also the founder of Kupperman Companies, a real estate investment and development firm based in New Orleans with $200MM in AUM encompassing 350,000 square feet. Prior to founding Kupperman Companies, Zach was a real estate and corporate attorney.
